Just wondering since they are hellbent on revisiting old locations. The only obvious one is that the Slimeblower is now integrated with the proton pack, even though the slime is green now.

Do you think we'll get the Giga meter? The museum? Vigo? Statue of Liberty? The train tunnel? River of slime? Everything I've seen so far is rooted in the first movie - which is great because its the superior film - but I'd still like to see some GB2 love.

I think that the Slimeblower was a little bit big and that`s why it was re-designed with new technologies and adapted to the protonpack.
Maybe in a second game we can have GB2 references (just kidding).

i'm sure mood slime is in there somewhere, the good ole pink stuff, i remember a clip where they were shooting these ghosty creatures with a pink slime, thats GB 2 referenced right?

There have also been rumblings that there is a Vigo painting in the game.

There is a talking Vigo painting in the game the guys have it back at GB HQ.

kind of a novelty cameo for comic effect..

Some of these aren't necessarily “references” to GB2.

The GB2 score, I believe, is unconfirmed. It says music from the films, but doesn't directly say the GB2 score will be used. Nonetheless, saying films could mean that we'll hear “On Our Own” or something.

Strange things happening in a museum isn't really a reference. Its a coincidence, and a similarity, but I wouldn't call this a reference.

The Statue of Liberty is a New York City landmark. It exists in the city skyline. Having it there isn't a reference to the second movie. Mentioning that they had “taken it for a walk” or something, however, would be.

Slime. Slime in and of itself exists in both movies, and thus isn't a reference to GB2. However, it does appear pink slime will make an appearance, so that would be a reference, indeed.
