I would imagine that there is some sort of plot device to explain why the Vigo painting is back.

I wouldn't be surprised if the surge of paranormal energies reverted the painting back and provided Vigo with enough power to at least appear back in the painting.

I sure hope that there really is some Ghostbusters II references in the game. Even though I know that most people did'nt like it, it still was part of film canon. Besides, why would the game have only Ghostbusters I stuff when Ghostbusters II happend a shorter while ago from the game?

GBII rocks. Is the first one better? Sure. Does GBII suck as much as people say? Not even close. It's like Rocky 5. Rocky 5 mostly sucks because it is compared to Rocky I, II, III, IV and even VI. But compare Rocky 5 to other movies and it is fine.

Nevertheless, it is obvious that GBII didn't wind up being what the writers/actors originally intended. Damn you money making studios!

I always assumed that one commentator was making a leap of logic in assuming that was Vigo. Given the wealth of screengrabs from the movies they used for the guys, I would've thought they'd have pulled Vigo's screengrabs for his concept art.
