Ug, I can not stand that guy who played the Mayor's assistant. What's his name….Kurt Fuller? Bleah.

I remember seeing GB so many years ago, and recall the librarian part very well, so it's like an old classic. And that scene always scared me. But I saw GB2 with my mom and a friend in the theatre and loved the Higher and Higher song since then. So that holds sentimental value, but I think all that slime gets on your nerves after awhile, and the little weird dude gets annoying popping up all over the place. I'd have to say GB is my fave, but they kinda go together like….things that go together.

Ghostbusters II was a lame rehash of the original.

The score was lame, the cinematography was unexciting, and the plot was flimsy.

And as for Ghostbusters II being funnier than Ghostbusters? Please. Ghostbusters had a sophisticated wit to it's humor; the kind of funny that makes you think about the joke for a few seconds, then you laugh. Ghostbusters II threw wit out the window and went for weak jokes. Blah.

Sure, GBII had it's moments, but as a film, Ghostbusters reigns supreme.

I liked Ghostbusters only slightly more than the sequal, probably because GB1 is fresher than the sequal is, do you know what I'm saying? But I do believe Ghostbusters II deffinetly stands up next to the original! They were both excellently done films in my opinion.

I agree.. Ghostbusters 2 was a great movie.. but there are too many low parts which can make it kind of a bummer at times..

GB1 did have that feeling that no can explain, but GB2 dose have it moments. Sadly to say the least the biggest let down for me in GB2 is that they don't bust the S. Brothers in uniform..i always hated that…

GB2 kicks. Bottom line. The props and characters are better, ghosts freaker, AND THE MUSIC KICKS ABSOLUTE CARPATHIAN ASS. “On our own” and “We're Back” are my 2 favorite songs, I only listen to GB1 theme on occasion.

Side note: Jesusfreak, what is up w/ your new sig pic? It dosen't make sense and isn't as cool as your others.

I liked GB2 as much as GB1. I also thought the World of the physic scene was classic. I thought the part where Venkman asks Vigo why he choose NY was funny too
