For any of you that have gotten screen captures and have pics from the movie on your website or computer or whatever how did you do that, what do you need to do that. Any help would be good thanks.

A dvd rom and the Windows DVD player for Windows ME.

You can do it internally that way, or externally which is the way I do it. You'd need a video capture card installed in your computer (a chip thing that plugs into the inside of the pc) and a wire going from the pc back to the VCR (tv/dvd player, etc.). I have mine hooked to my VCR most of the time, and when I use the DVD I just have to plug the wire into the other VCR where the DVD goes through.
You can get real expensive ones, but I'm quite happy with my card I got for around 20 bucks. All depends on the quality of the Tv picture and the tapes you use, etc.

If you goto my site and goto image/wav file requests i have 500+ GB1/2 imges to choose from. just follow the instructions and i'll email them to you after requested. hope that helps a little.

Question for those of you with an internal DVD rom and capture card. Can you still plug it into the Tv/Cable/VCR and get photos?
If not, I'd go nuts cos I don't have nearly as many DVDs as I do videos.

Why would you want to use a DVD rom to route to a TV and back to take captures? Or do you just want to view it on your TV?
I personally use WinDVD, but I've heard and have seen that PoverDVD is much better for capture..

No, I mean if you have a DVD rom and you're getting photos from your computer, can you hook….no I guess you can't if it's internal. I was thinking you'd have a wire in the back of the computer.
Mine has a video card installed IN the computer, and a wire that runs from the back of the computer (out of the card) to the Tv/VCR/DVD at my entertainment centre. If you have only a DVD rom, then I assume you can't run a wire to the television so you can take screengrabs of Tv shows.
I have a bunch of Dan DVDs, but I don't have a DVD rom on my computer. And I do a lot of other sites, and I use shows that aren't on DVD and I need a card that will hook to the Tv and VCR as well as the DVD player to get photos. Not just a DVD player.
