How do you create a new profile image?

I've uploaded lots of pics that I've found on the internet,yet I either get nothing or my original image. Any help someone?

Go to your profile. Click on “edit profile”. Scroll down. Now, you will see "Upload Profile Image. Image will be resized to 200 x 200 and must be under 50K (gif, jpeg, jpg, or bmp file only):

MUST BE UNDER 50K. Thats probably your problem.

its tricky, if it still doesnt work, try resizing it in paint and saving it as a jpeg file. That usually works. Resize it through stretch and skew, not attributes.

sometimes it wont work even if you meet the regulations, what you have to do is rename it until it works, but only if the regulations are met
