how do you put the junk ontop of the hood

electronic or just for show? It depends on the size of what you want to attach and if you want it to be perminent or not.

Watch the movies a few times, notice how everythign is on a rack of sorts, a lot liek city trucks. Then look at some USF ecto pics, it will give you a good idea how to do it, also lightbars should come with instructions on how to fix it to your car. other than that i would think nuts and bolts would work best, but i dont own an ecto, yet.

I'd say you could by scrap metal for cheap, have it welded together into a rack specifically made for mounting all of your “Junk” and then some nuts and bolts to attach it to the car. Might ruin the hood but its one way to go.
