Hey all, I've been a member here for a while but haven't posted here in a long time (been busy in my life lately). I recently got the GB game for the PS3 and love it! It's like a gift from the Heavens for any GB fan. However it has a fatal flaw, at least on the PS3, that makes it almost a chore and that's the lack of a save every time I quit the game when I want to rest and can only start a new game every time. VERY frustrating. I've looked up how to save the game, but nothing works for me when I try. Can someone please write down a list of simple and easy-to-follow instructions here on how to save my progress playing the game without losing anything? I should also note I don't play online and don't have a spare ethernet cable, so the trick about going online and then back to the single-player game won't work for me for now.

Thanks a lot to anyone who replies and hopefully has a response that helps. Sorry if this has been posted before but I keep finding all sorts of solutions to this problem and none seem to work. I'm looking for a simple step-by-step solution that fixes this problem and makes saving progress easy.

it should save at certian points automatically.

Yes but the game never actually saves my progress, it always seems to erase it or not save it. A lot of other people have had this problem.

I am also in a similar situation (no broadband yet for PS3 for at least 2 more months).

Is there ANY way internet-deprived PS3 gamers can obtain the patch via a link or flash-drive download for the GB-TVG to resolve the Career Saves issue????
