I can't get on the chat. Everytime I try, I get an “error on page” message in my status bar. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, now I'm having trouble getting into the chatroom. Okay, it was working before, then all of a sudden, some stupid pop-ups screwed it up. It froze. To get rid of them, I lost the connection. Now whenever I tried to re-establish the connection, it takes a while, then it tells me my username or password is invalid. Stupid pop-ups!!!! They screwed it up!!! Can you fix it so that my username or password is valid?

Very odd, are you sure you are entering in the correct data? That part should work, all your problems are unrelated.

Uh-huh, yup, I entered and re-entered and re-entered my name and password. I even looked down at the keyboard, and spelled everything slowly. Still no luck. It was very odd. That was on the computer upstairs.

Btw, we have two computers in my house. I'm typing this message on the second one. It's downstairs. I tried to get into the chatroom on this one(the second one). I think it worked. It said Connection established, but it was still on the screen where you sign in. Does that mean nobody is in the room? Cuz if people were in the room, the screen would then switch to the conversation that's going on, right?

I hope that made sense. Sometimes my words get muddled.

It's possible that when the thing froze, it corrupted the cookie, which would defiantely keep you from getting in.

Try clearing out your history (from IE, go tools-> internet options-> settings-> edit-> select all-> file-> delete), then close the browser, reopen and try going back to the chat.

Actually it's okay now. I got in just fine earlier today. But thanks for the suggestion. If that happens again I'll do what you suggested.
