I got mine on the Christmas after it came out, and it was hella hard to find. I got mine at FAO Schwartz, how about evryone else? I got it with Smash Bros which kicks ass. I then got Simpsons: Road Rage, and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. I rented Luigi's Mansion (Being the GB fan I am) and it was pretty good. It made me like Luigi a lot more than that bastard Mario… FYI: most people who bought an Xbox are just PC gamers who bought it for Halo, the ONLY thing keeping the Xbox alive.

I got a Gamecube around Christmas time as well…and picked up Luigi's Mansion, Madden 2002 (sweet!), along with Rogue Squadron 2: Rogue Leader (Best GC game yet) and recently SSB:M.
Can't wait for Super Mario Sunshine and the new Zelda, as well as the Starfox (all coming out this year).
I don't have an X-Box and don't want one, but I will say that Halo is one of the better games I've played in a long time…it's missions are realistic and intense, and long, and the multiplayer mode is awesome.

Im not gonna argue about systems because I think it sucks when systems fail for anyone involved but the Xbox has more going for it than Halo. For one I bought it so I could watch DVD's instead of buying a separate DVD player, the Xbox works quite good too. It also has good sports games and I cannot wait until Toe Jam and Earl 3 comes out.

Oh stuff it borzou. Gamecube has had a much better launch and follow through than ps2 did. The only good games for ps2 then was SSX and Madden.

I've been toying with the thought of selling my Gamecube. I think i might keep it, but it just seems the software support is, well, slow. The Xbox isn't much different, but i like their titles a bit more. Sega supporting the Xbox with titles such as Jet Grind Radio and Shenmue pretty much sold me on the system, and Halo is great. Also doubles as a good DVD player and MP3 deck. I've allways been more of a console gamer, but according to some people's opinions, only pc gamers can like the Xbox…whatever. I like good games, lets just leave it at that(regardless of the system, and yes, that especially includes the Dreamcast)

Probably? You are bashing a system you never even played! The fact that your friends call it Lamecube is supposed to not make people buy it? Anyone who like Nintendo games like Gamecube. They easily make the best games in the world. I haven't stopped playing my GC since I got it.
Sure, PS2 has like 300 games, but 290 of them suck. It's jagged, dissapointing graphics will catch up to people by the end of 2003. PS2 has one weakness: no Nintendo games.
