Should the boxes be made of a solid piece of wood or be hollow?

I found that building them hollow help and makes them lighter, but soild makes it so that you don't have to use wood filler or bondo. Remember it takes a while to build a good pack. I'm on my third because I don't like how the other two turned out.

What is this part, the “ATT” people are making reference to?

The ATTenuator. It's the box the holds the Booster…And the PPD is attached to it.

How thick should the plywood for constructing the boxes be? I want the pack to be sturdy and last awhile

most of my boxes are made out of 1/4 inch thick plywood (from my basement). But when that ran out, I had to buy more, and I ended up going with a sheet of 3/8 inch thick plywood. and that was good because I used it for my motherboard. It doesn't really matter, I mean, none of it should break unless you beat the hell out of your pack, and even then, repairing it should be fun. just make sure to factor in the thickness of your plywood into your measurements.

I always thought that the gun would be the hardest part of it….

oh yeah……..I forgot, the gun is the hardest part……please don't get me thinking about it, I'm just trying to focus on the pack. Once I get that done completely to my saticfaction, I'll take a look at the gun and try to understand how to make it.
