It was live action would it be filmed in Canada?

Hypothetical question if it was just a live action film would it be filmed in Canada or would in be filmed in America, mind you where is the animated one being made for that matter.

But I'd imagine a live action one would be filmed in LA and New York like the first two.

We don't even know that it's been finalized, let alone know where it's going to be produced. It's going to take months to find out - let's not fill the time turning speculation into fact.

And no, I suspect if they did it live action, at least some portion would be filmed in New York - it's a New York movie, I can't see how you could make it without some footage shot in New York.

I've always had a strong support for those productions that shoot on location despite the soaring costs… like Cas said, Ghostbusters is a New York movie… you ask me I think it'd lose a lot of character if they only shot scenes of the Firehouse exterior, and misc ‘cliche New York landmark’ shots…

I'd rather a hypothetical live action third film be shot on location, then shot 98% on Canadian streets and the remainder being the shots they couldn't do anywhere else other than Manhattan.

That, and that ‘New York street’ set is getting way overused on things like CSI: New York and anything that wants to look like it's even remotely set on Manhattan Island.
