Just a thought

If and when a GB3 is made. I think a good idea would be to have the same Ghostbusters along with new ones. But have them all related to the original cast. Like Peter Aykroyd (Dan's younger brother), Ernie Hudson Jr. (Ernie's son), and something for Bill, dunno because his brothers are older than him, then Oscar (Dana's baby all grown up).

If it's made any time soon, Oscar won't be all grown up. He'll be pre adolescent age…

That idea wouldn't be half-bad actually. You mentioned Bill Murray's brothers being too old, but don't forget that he has two sons who are at least college age. I know one's name is Homer (seriously) but I forget the other. Harold Ramis has at least two adult children, and I know his daughter (I believe her name is Violet) is in her early 30s. It would be kinda neat to have the next generation of Ghostbusters (if they're has to be a new group) be the children of the original cast. And the thing about Oscar being all grown up could work if you placed the events of the movie a few years (maybe 5 or so) into the future. Right now, in 2003, Oscar would be somewhere around 15 years of age. Could be the perfect role for one of the Murray sons……….a way to get Bill back on the GB3 bandwagon and to get Sony/Columbia interested again.
