Edge of darkness. It's was a pretty great movie, a more intelligent thriller then i thought. Seeing Mel Gibson back in the saddle kickin ass again was awesome.

Zombieland
8.5/10

Funny movie, the gore and the zombie killing spree was great… but Bill Murray and the biggest Ghostbusters reference on a movie, make it greater. I loved it.

Dorian Gray

First time I've had a chance to get acquainted with the specific tale, a enjoyable film, not over the top on the gore or violence, but enough to establish the main basis of the film. There some nice old cinematic techniques involved with the horror aspects of the story.

Watched Paranormal Activity last night.

Scared the bejeesus out of me. Had to Google it afterwards to see if it was fake or not!

***SPOILER***
ie. I kinda knew the footage was fake, I just wanted to know if the “story” was. When I found out that they refused to release the sources, to me, that means it was made up.
*** END SPOILER

And re ^^ Zombieland. I've seen that 3 times so far. In my books, if I watch a movie twice that means it was a good movie… can't wait til they get around to doing a sequel. (Apparently they first wanted to do it as a TV series)

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief

It does have a lot of what you'd expect from a kid's film, some predictable plot twists and plenty of spectacle, but there were some enjoyable adaptations of the old Greek legends, as well as some pretty cool cast members.

And there were a few bits of violence I honestly wasn't expecting, nothing over the top in terms of gore, but surprising for a kid's flick.

Worth seeing if you're able to catch it on a discount day, and for seeing kids in the 21st century using classical armor and swords.

I think I'll wait for the remake of Clash of the Titans, if only because I don't have the time to go to the movies at this moment.
