Kick-Ass

All I can really say, is it was completely awesome.

There were some changes from the original comic, but I didn't mind them.

Anyone seen the “Clash of the Titans” remake yet? I want to see it but due to my love of the original and love of mythology…but considering how classic the original was I am afraid the remake won't do it justice

Just watched the original last night… great movie indeed (though some names aren´t correct, like the Kraken), and I´m waiting for the remake too, but like you, I love greek mythology… and I don´t want a commecial hollywood attempt that could ruin the original one.

With a classic movie like “Clash” I try to ignore errors as much as they clench at me.

for the record, the Kraken was Icelandic / Norwegian mythology…not Greek.

Clash of the Titans.

I rather much enjoyed it. I loved how they designed Hades and Charon. They had a humorous reference to the original movie towards the beginning involving the Hephaestus mechanical replica of Bubo.

How to Train your Dragon

Really enjoyable, often Dreamworks has come off as the poor man's Pixar, and the way the Shrek sequels have gone, it hasn't helped that… but How to Train your Dragon is definitely a step in the right direction, delivering plenty of laughs and high moments.

I can't comment on the 3D, as sadly I missed the 3D showing I was planning to attend as something I was at today ran late… but the 2D version was excellent… and Toothless is by far the coolest dragon out of the lot.

I was especially surprised by what happened to Hiccup's foot in the end, a surprising downer… but it in ways cements Hiccup's bond with Toothless even further.

Definitely gonna get this on DVD, not to mention the score. album.. and a figure of Toothless if I can find one.

Went to go see that today in 3D. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I personally didn't think the 3D was spectacular (but don't take my word for it since I think 3D in general isn't a very spectacular and cannot wait till the fad is gone again).

Am I the only one that smells a Saturday Morning Cartoon series or endless series of sequels based on the movie in the future?

Jurassic Park

Watched it at a theater here in my city that shows retro movies every Wednesday night. Awesome movie to see theatrically.
