It's been officially announced that there will be a sequel to How to Train Your Dragon which'll be released in 2013 (as well as a possible TV series and a travelling show). Hopefully the three-year wait will be enough for them to craft as good a sequel as the original… if they aspire to make a sequel like Toy Story 2 (as enjoyable and even better than the original) then we shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Sweet, I love it when my “feelings” are right

Can't wait to see what they come up with. I wonder if they will try and incorporate the elements of the book sequels into the sequel / TV series. I am sure if they do a TV series they would eventually.

The last movie I watched is one from the 90s that the majority of people haven't seen. It's called The Pagemaster. It's a very underrated movie.

I remember that one, with Macaulay Culkin right? Live action then cartoon with talking books or something. I vaguely remember that film. Haven't seen it in many years, may have to fish it out of the archives!

A Nightmare On Elm Street (2010)

Not a bad remake at all, better than expected.

Same here, I thought the “Nightmare” remake was pretty damn good. Hopefully they make Freddy a little more demonic looking in the sequels they have planned. Saw it at the expensive-ass Digiexperience thing that they have at the mall theater, so was impressed with the surround sound and everything too… I'll definately have to go back and check it out again.

I'm hoping the sequel will incorporate elements from Freddy's Revenge and Dream Warriors into one movie. The possession angle from FR with the dream powers angle of DW.

Edit: Saw Kick-Ass earlier, it lives up to it's name.

I saw it on Friday as well, I thought it was pretty good myself. I unfortunately saw it with a Freddy Fangirl that was blasting it hardcore after the movie was over. So other than having to hear an earful from her, it was enjoyable. As long as they stay away from the “son of a hundred maniacs” and the “making the deal with the three dream demons” aspects of Freddy's origin out of the next movies…I wouldn't mind one bit seeing more

I saw the Nightmare on Elm Street remake. It was disappointing. The events were very predictable, the movie is paced horribly fast. It rushes into things too quickly without building any real suspense, and it was easy to tell the dream sequences from the real world, and it you can pretty much predict when it was going to happen. The new Freddy was ok, but the new makeup limited his facial expressions, and he looked almost emotionless throughout the film.

The only thing that bothered me about the new Freddy's makeup was the nose, the brow, and his eyes.

I'm not sure if I ever said it on this forum, but…
