Superman/Batman: Public Enimies: Ok. Too much action, not enough story. Kevin Conroy was awesome though!

Course he was….he is vengeance. He is the night! He - is - BATMAN!!

Also….got to agree with your assessment that there was to much action and not enough story.

Aditionally…what's ya think of the rocket at the end? I rofled….not in a good way btw

Over the weekend:

“Where The Wild Things Are”
“9 Lives Of Fritz The Cat”
“Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II”
“Happy Birthday To Me”
“Heavy Metal”-My first time watching it on DVD. Followed this by watching the “Major Boobage” episode of “South Park”.

Cream of the crop was “Ghostbusters II” on a HDTV for the first time.

Inappropriate place to ask this but…Crimson…where did you get Patricks crack pot ramblings for your sig?

::edit::

And what did you think of “Where the Wild Things Are”? I remember it from my childhood and tempted to go see it

I stole'd it from a post he made on ProtonCharging. It was absolute gold so I just couldn't let the lulz go to waste.

“Wild Things” hit a lot of personal notes with me so I really bonded with it more now then when I did when I was a young'un.

Also: movie I watched today was “Night Of The Creeps” SPECIAL EDITION DVD!!! I've been waiting for this for years and they finally got around to doing it and just JAMMING it full of features.

Seriously, everyone needs to go out and buy it now.

Good man! I love that film it's LEGEN - wait for it, and I hope you're not lactose intolerant because the second half of that word is - DAIRY!

Plus, the Major Boobage episode of South Park is one of my faves. Still haven't gotten around to getting Heavy Metal on DVD yet…

Huh. I thought the original Heavy Metal was legendary, and Heavy Metal 2000 was “legen-dairy”.

“Heavy Metal” was massive bew-bage. “Heavy Metal 2000” just had a set of sweater muffins slapped on a body builder and a voice supplied by Julie “My-husband-made-this-schlock-as-a-movie-vehicle-for-me-Jesus-Christ-why-and-how-the-f***-did-the-Insane-Clown-Posse-get-on-the-soundtrack?” Strain.

Turtles Forever

Good movie. It's a crossover between the 80s turtles and 2003 turtles (dimensional rip caused by the technodrome basically). They did a great job animating the 80s turtles, the look exactly like they did in the old cartoon. It you wouldn't know, you'd think you were watching a new episode of the 87 series.

The only problems I had with it was that they didn't get the original voice actors to do it, even though on the DVD for old cartoon they said they would of loved to do the voices again. The imitators were good, but it would of felt more compelte, and more of an anniversary film if it reunited the 80s cast. They also made fun of the 80s turtles (and villains) too much. They made them act very goofy as if they were never serious about anything except pizza, even Leonardo.

I know the 80s turtles were more light but they exaggerated things way too much and seemed like they were making fun of them. Some way to treat the cartoon that launched your popularity. I don't think the TMNT would be as popular as it is now if it weren't for the success of the 87 cartoon.

I'll still get the DVD though when and if it comes out (because of the buy from Viacom, it's up to them if they wanna releases it). They're suppose to be 12 minutes cut from the one that aired on TV, so I am interested in seeing what got taken out for the sake of commercials.
