Master Replicas and Ghostbusters?!

I don't know if this has been posted but let me start by saying I'm a collector of Star Wars prop replicas and I'm a HUGE Ghostbusters fan. I received this newsletter the other day:

http://masterreplicas.com/customer/community/newsletters/view.php?id=248

In the coming soon area it says, “Back off, man. I'm a scientist.”

Then I found this post on their message board:

http://masterreplicas.com/forum/showthread.php?p=42203#post42203

Does this mean they're going to produce prop replicas for Ghostbusters?! If it's anything like their Star Wars stuff I think we're all in for a BIG treat! What do you think?!

I think we're in for Nothin'.

Not very excited at all. I browsed through their stuff; and I'm not impressed.

Have you ever seen their Star Wars stuff? Most of it has been pulled off of their website because they no longer have the license. Check eBay, it's really good stuff. They also made the “FX” Lightsabers.

That's the only good thing I've seen really. Otherwise, I wouldn't buy from them.

That's too bad… I'm VERY impressed with the collection of replicas I have and if the tease is GB related, I'm sure I'll pick up whatever they have available. Any ideas on what they'll make?

On GBFans it's debated that it'll probably be a PKE Meter or Ghost Trap.

I would love to see a Master Replicas Proton Pack…though expensive, it would pretty much put a good quality prop in the hands of those untalented at making them or just plain do not have time.

I was thinking what could be the price a PRoToN PACK I'M guessing in the $2,000 area if a light saber cost at least $140 or something a pack is gonna be a little expensive.

I don't see a proton pack being that expensive.

How much do those GB prop guys spend making a decent one?

With lights and sound it will run you around 1,500 for a completely accurate pack.
