Wow… that was disappointing. I got into the site after 2 tries with the answers, but its literally nothing but the same text we've already seen and a brief message from Walter Peck saying to stay away or something. No images or anything that I can find.

Answers (if they're in the same order):
1. Anne Boleyn
2. The Haunted
3. Great Dane
4. Crying Old Baby

I'm curious to find out just how heavy they'll make the proton pack. I think we all can remember how Venkman suggested in the courtroom scene that the pack was pretty heavy. So to be authentic, I guess you figure they'd have to make them reasonably heavy by the standards of a grown man, such as Venkman. It'd be cool to have that extra little authentic touch, but it'll be killer on the cost of shipping.

making it heavy isnt going to make it more accurate.

making it heavy isnt going to make it more accurate.

Indeed… why would anyone want them to be heavier then they already are? Fan-made Packs have been known to weigh close to their on-screen counterparts, ranging around 30 pounds or so in weight.

Like I said, I'm just curious about it. Do we know the weight of the actual onscreen proton pack prop? If so, then I see no good reason why MR should deviate from that, at least not to make it heavier. When you consider that they're in the business of making prop replicas, and the prop wasn't truly capable of performing the functions as shown onscreen(although I remember thinking as a kid that the proton streams were real), Bill Murray could've easily been making it all part of his acting when he, in character, suggested that the pack was heavy.

Put bricks inside it if you want it to be heavy. It needs to look accurate, not feel like it weighs 40 pounds because the characters said the thing was heavy.

I was thinking what could be the price a PRoToN PACK I'M guessing in the $2,000 area if a light saber cost at least $140 or something a pack is gonna be a little expensive.

With the ammount of them they'll move I think they will be able to drop the price down significantly

Not too shocking that the master replicas line was canceled yesterday. Something we had been hoping for and holding our breath for for years.

I am actually very disappointed that the line was canceled. Maybe I wouldn't have bought a proton pack, but i was definitely pumped to finally be able to have a ghost trap (as I am not handy at all).

Seems like the world has plenty of monkey wrenches to throw into the gears of the ghostbusting machine.

I heard they couldnt get the right or license to the props to mass produce….. I dont know how accuratte the info is I heard

It makes sence though, I dont see how in the hell they could mass produce proton packs and ghost traps and it be worth theyre time, there are so many elements and parts that go into a proton pack I think this Master Replica deal has as much ass/backbone as the GhostSpy deal we heard of as beeing a Ghostbusters 3
