Ugh, for the love of God Sony/Activision, give us some official ****ing news already and lets put these ****ing different dates to rest.

In all reality, they have given us a release date…autumn 2008…more accurately October 31rst, 2008 as listed on Activisons Website. Everything is just guesses by 3rd party sources and a musing about a delay from Sony to 2009. I mean in reality, I am sure there will be a delay with all the publisher mumbo jumbo, but until I hear otherwise before then, I will be going my Gamestop on the 31rst of October to pick up my copy.

Well, its like another poster said, if we don't hear anything about a demo or the game going gold in September, I wouldn't be counting on that Oct. 31st date.

My question is how can a company be working on a game for 2 years, and not have a publisher in place between that time period, but wait till the last minute to actually hire a publisher?
correct me if im wrong in this type of subject of Business negotiation, but thats just my opinion based on my own found facts.

They did have a publisher in place, they only lost it because the publishing company got bought out by Activision who decided for one reason or another not to include Ghostbusters in their publishing list.

Oh my God, if thats true, I need to check my XBox, and hope that a demo is coming out, cause if so, the October release may still stand.
Edit: Sure enough, there it was, hopefully this week we'll get a 360 Demo, that would be hella sweet and well, maybe it does mean that the October dates still stand, that'd be ****ing awesome.

This is more than just a coincidence . There have been too many coincidences ! If noone was publishing the game Don't you think they would have cut promotion by now and stopped spending money?

The weird thing is that there's no mention of a supposed release date or anything Ghostbuster VG related this week. Another suspicious part about it is that the other “OUT THIS WEEK” games are games that are actually coming out, like Too Human.

Well, I don't think they're releasing the game this week, I mean, we could only wish that, but that sign points to a demo, please for the love of God let it be a demo.
