Optimistically I think it's a demo to hold us over until the actual release….pessimitically I think it's the movie for downloadable rental service

I'm sure as hell hoping for the demo, cause then, that'd be something to play for a bit, and not only that, but we'd get to see wither or not Terminal Reality actually does need to polish the game up or not.

I think its the demo cuz thursday they are releasing the demo for star wars force unleashed.
I will be just fine with the demo gives us all a chance to play around with the new engine and also lets us bust some heads… in a spiritual sense of course.

I totally respect your position Chad , But why would they keep hitting us in the head with this sh*t if something wasn't going to happen soon.

As soon as Sierra was stopped in their tracks , promotion for the game stopped. We all know this. Then the demos get released to blogs and video game news groups and then we get this towards the end of the month.

There is something going on, and I doubt it's something as easy as a misprint. Even after we got the news of the delay during ComicCon Ryan French still swore up and down that the game was coming out on time.

Even with all the things going on I take him at his word. I talked to him for almost an Hour and that guy is not the bullshitting type. So you may be right and the game may still be delayed , but I still think something that we can't see is going on right now. A struggle of sorts. It's not as cut a dry as we think…

I do hope your right QZEDDEMOORE, cause I would love to see a demo out this week, as I'm sure this entire forum would. Lets just keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.

Well usually, when a developer releases a demo it is to promote the upcoming game that will come out in the next month maybe two. They would never release a demo if the game was coming out next year 6 months from now. Again usually. Not saying it couldn't happen, but it usually doesn't (a demo release a year before the game release I mean).

Now if this is a Demo of Ghostbusters the video game, then that means the game will come out this year at least. Why? because like said above it is unusual for a developer to release a demo if the game is coming out next year.

So far, nothing has really changed about the release date. Sure there have been rumors and speculation, and Sony possibility rethinking a strategy, but it doesn't mean this is all true. Granted, this has been the first news we have heard in a while. Keep the faith that maybe miracles can happen.

So on Wed. we get new content on X-Box Live marketpace… and on Thursday, Playstation does it's store updates.

I know they are also adding THE FORCE UNLEASHED on X-Box on Thursday - but With GC going on, I'm almost positive the demo will be up tomorrow and Thursday for the 360 and PS3, respectively.

Interesting stuff, my Xbox live connection decided to piss me off and not work so unfortunately I can't check my Xbox but I'll take everyone's word for it. I'll have to get it up and running if this is in fact a demo.

With all of the weird stuff going on I'm not sure what to think anymore. Even though Ghostbusters WAS dropped by Activision that doesn't mean the delay is official. Just because people don't believe that a publisher will be found and make it in time doesn't make it fact. Of course a delay is a possibility (a very good possibility) but that still doesn't make it official. I certainly hope that this is a demo (and I can't see what else it could be) but we'll just have to wait and see.

this is awesome but i just turned on my xbox and looked and didnt see it i saw the stuff for too human and some tennis game but no gb oh well i still believe that it was on there and cant wait to find out for sure! good find
