Hey that's not a bad idea at all! I'd order a set. What would be great would be if they actually included the “original” run proton packs where the cable between pack and thrower connects to the bottom of the pack instead of in through the bumper.

Man, I have been searching hell and back for these TMNT anniversary figures! That would be pretty cool if they did the same thing for Ghostbusters. Though they're not really doing a whole lot in terms of promoting the Ghostbusters anniversary, unlike TMNT which has a website and a whole line of different stuff to celebrate and promote the occasion.

I would've loved to see something like that done with the RGB toys. Maybe something they could sell if GB3 is ever made or if the upcoming videogame becomes popular enough.

I saw those retro Turtles at a Target the other day, and had the same thought. “Why doesn't Hasbro (who bought Kenner) and/or Sony get off their asses and do something like this? With the DVDs coming out, and not having to get Bill Murray's likeness rights for it, it'd be awesome!”
As a bonus, they could use the molds from the Power Pack Janine, and maybe even Louis, to make “proper” versions of them (meaning wearing their actual RGB flight suits)

I feel like some of my packs were like this and some were through the bumper in the middle.
In any case, I would absolutely LOVE it if they re-released the old RGB figures. Hell, I might even prefer that to new figures. I would love to have that feeling of going into Toys R Us, seeing them all over the shelves, and getting to walk home with my new Venkman or Stantz figures…
I'd definitely be buying a whole set, and possibly even a 2nd set to keep in the packaging.

Exactly, Ectofiend. I would hope they would go with the one on the left. About it being original, I could be wrong about this, but thinking back - I thought the first run of packs (maybe the first several) had the hose going in the bottom. Then sometime in the middle they switched and it started going into the back of it. Could be wrong though - it's been years since I've had my toys out.
