E-mailing a company and suggesting they release this and that usually doesn't get through. Besides you'd be e-mailing a representative or one of those questionnaire guys, not the actual head itself and usually that's as far as the e-mails go.

The first has the hose in the bottom - the second has it going through the bumper. Then I guess, Ectofiend, you're pic would be a third varient with the hose going in through the middle of the back. I'm not sure which is “original” anymore.

*No no no - What you're seeing on the right in that pic I posted is other packs resting on top of it…The original pic I got those examples from had a pile of packs from the first series on until the “ecto glow” sitting on top of each other…So both packs in that pic are identical, though just at different angles…

*So it's still only two:

-Into bumper.
-into bottom.

*I think I just answered my own question:



*The one on the right is the version with the cord going through the bottom of the pack…Judging from the layout on the back of the card - These are the first out the Kenner gate, henceforth the ORIGINALS.

*The one on the right is the standard “defacto” “1rst Series” figure card-back, and the pack has the cord going through the bumper…This is in-fact what my card-back looked like when I got mine in '87…This is what the majority of the “first series” releases looked like…Pack and all…

*So mystery solved:

-7 figure card-back + pack w/ cord at bottom = ORIGINALS.
-12 Figure, 4 Accessory card-back + pack w/ cord in bumper = Later releases.
