I am being forced to write a birthday card, and I don't do cards very well at all. They always come out, phony, pretentious, and cliche. I am not a sentimental person at all, and I choke on writing cards. I have a very short deadline to do this, and I need lots of help. I need some kind of pre-written note for a grandfather, which I can then tweak to my “liking” or at least “tolerating.”

Just go to Wal-mart, or Kmart and copy something off a birthday card meant for a grandfather.
