all of these last couple of posts bring up some valid points.
I think that the biggest hurdle for the long time fans will be to accept new parts of the cannon. Because we've been waiting so long we tend to think that it will be disappointing if we play it and it's not the ghostbusters we remember . we've got to remember that the heart of the GB's himself penned the new weapons and story and what ever he adds is good enough for me.

This is just the beginning , I feel it. This game is gonna do well and the ghostbusters name will live on in video games even if it never sees another movie. Expect to see a sequel when the numbers come back in.

At this point im happy to have something else and it looks like they've taken on the project with care and good work. Also this project has done what no one else has been able to do in years and that is bring the ghostbusters back together as a complete squad. For that alone it deserves a lot of credit……….

I envy you, I thought about going but the prices are a little too extreme for someone who doesn't live in the area or have realtives there.

I'm still hopeful that they move the convention to Las Vegas someday

Well if any luck they will release the Demo at E3 in 2 weeks, since X Box Live has a habit of releasing demos from E3 on the system during E3. If that were so then…3 Weeks till the Demo? Maybe? Hopefully?

There's not a lot, but there is a couple new tidbits like when a ghost is ready to be trapped it starts smoking, and a small blurb on a sniper-like add-on for the proton pack.

They kept mentioning Demo over and over again in the article, I wonder if that is the Comic Con/E3 Demo they were playing.

People may have glanced over this but IGN did release the name of another Weapon/Upgrade. Although it may have been mentioned before, the article says. In addition to the standard proton pack, money earned from ghost hunting can be used to buy upgrades like a freeze shot, sniper-like Mason collider, and a slime beam from Egon back at the firehouse

I always wondered about Reitman and thanks to the Computer and Video Games article, it's nice to know he's going to help oversee the fmv sequences. It's just great having so many people back to help make the game more authentic.

Not sure if this has been asked, but will the Ghostbusters theme by Ray Parker Jr. be used in game? Please say yes.
