I was at G4TV.com watching Sessler's Soap Box and he said that Sierra
is stopping by on monday for a hands on demo of Ghostbusters thats going to be aired on G4 !!!
He also mentions that Ghostbusters is part of the E3 Lineup!!!!!!!

I guess you all already know the Ghostbusters theme song will be in the game. It will be the Ray Parker Jr. version of the song.
You may probably think that I'm crazy when I say this but, one thing that I hope that we can play not only as the new recruit, but also play as the original 4 Ghostbusters as well. I'm anxious to play as Egon Spengler.

Yahoo Games seems to have posted a quick video talking about Rick and how he isn't going to be in the new game. They also show a few quick shots of the game, I'm not sure if there is anything new they show or not. But they are continuing the story that Rick isn't going to be in the game becuase of money.

Well, according to the early talks about the game, you will only be playing as the New Recruit because they want it to feel like you're watching a movie while playing a game at the same time.
But probably for any multiplayer modes, you'll be able to play as the other GBs. I know that for the Wii version there are multiplayer games, and you'll be able to play as all the Ghostbusters.

Ahh I'm still praying for a multiplayer mode on the 360, A buster vs ghost mode would rock (gears of war style maybe?) (oh and can anyone tell me if multi has been confirmed on the 360, I looked through the 70 pages and couldnt find anything) (^_^)

I think it has been confirmed, but from what I remember is that the mutliplayer for the 360 will be “XBOX Live!” only. Sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news.
I'm still hoping for a multiplayer on the system that wont be XBOX live! required. I unfortunatly dont have the money for it.

Well, I just heard a BIG RUMOUR from a guy who works at GamePlanet here in my town:
“There will be a Limited Edition of the game, and the box will have a Ghost Trap shape…”
but here comes the best…
“… and will be a Ghostbusters version of the XBox 360 console, as Halo3 had his console, GB will have one, with some designs off the Proton Pack, only 15000 will be made.”
He couldn´t tell me the right source, it was a internal rumour between the stores at GamePlanet franchise.
Note: I dunno if it is true, I only wrote here what this guy told me, I hope he´s not lying to me, cause I know the guy for a several years ago. I hope everything he´s saying is real.

Eh, maybe the Limited Edition Game but I really doubt the Xbox. Seems like Sony would give that to PS3 over XBOX and seems Microsoft would be reluctant to take it.

I don't know about a limited edition xbox but maybe a face plate and cover for the xbox. I would actually rather have that then a new xbox all together.
