did anyone else notice in the new video, that the four lights on the back of the proton pack seem to “pop” out? Maybe that is an indicator of the pack overheating.

it was always like that.

GHOSBUSTERS THE VIDEO GAME IS THE SH*T!!!!!!
this game does not disappoint.
ok here it goes . this will be a long post.

First , the bad news. Word on the floor is that the GB Panel for tommorow got cancelled :@

just in case they were wrong , Im going to show up anyway and
check at the right time ( 1:45pm tommorow)
now about the game:

I first went to the sony pictures set up in the middle of exhibit hall.
Who do I see there first? Ryan French , AKA the rookie himself.
I shook his hand and spoke with him briefly as He started me up on the demo and handed me the controller.
although as I reached for my camera to get a pic with him he disappeared. Before he left he told me the demo is coming in SEPT for Xbox , PS3 , and PC!!!

I first played through the demo on PS3 then I traveled over to the firehouse doors to play the 360 version.Now Let me tell you first hand,
( the testers know this already)
no picture or video we have seen do any of the graphics Justice at all.
They are Beautiful. Beyond Beautiful. The actors faces have been
recreated to a tee!. The demo has full voice acting by Ernie Hudson , Dan Aykroyd , And Harold Ramis, You can hear them clear as day.

The Xbox and PS3 versions are damn near identical. So don't worry about which system you have , you wont get cheated.

The demo is the Public library level. most of the stuff you guys have already seen in the demo but it was fully playable.
switching to and from your equipment is very fluid. It's not a hassle to go back to your PKE after having out the proton gun. The music from the films plays and changes based on whats going on in the game.The dialogue is great! the visual and camera movement is Great! and the enemies are challenging enough to keep you playing this over and over (I played the demo 9 times today in between panels)

I also had a talk with Nate Watson , One of the artists from the Ghostbusters Manga coming out and I got some pics of some of his favorite panels from the book that he did. I also got an inside look at one of the stories in the book.

Was there no Bill Murray voice acting at all during the demo? How was the dialog between the characters? Did it feel like Ghostbusters?

Did you see anything on the DS game?

venkman is mentioned in the demo in the voice acting , but is not present.
Im assuming it's a plot thing because everyone else had their stuff complete.

it feels very Ghostbusters !

Im truly proud to be a ghostbusters fan on this day. I'll admit, I was afraid to play it, I didn't want it to suck ( especially because activision owns sierra now) but there wasn't a part of it that I didn't like.

Anything on a Limited edition game?

no info on DS and no info for Limited Edition. Truthfully if there was gonna be one I think they would have announced it by now but , you never know.

I cannot wait to hear more. It will be great to finally get our hands on the demo myself.

Thank you QZEDDMORE You perfectly incapsulated what I have been wanting to say for so long. But I do want to know, how far did you get in the Library level? Can you describe some of it? That level was always my favorite one, just for certain scenes that happen in it.

sorry. its just this is really the only thing i have to look forward to in the next few months cuz the RGB DVD set is just out of my budget.

Yes, the demo is September, and thats going to be awesome, since my birthday is in September, anyways, thanks for the report QZEDDEMOORE I look forward to hearing more, but what I heard so far, sounds awesome.
