Also, Gamespot's Comic Con walkthrough

im not sure if this has been discussed yet in this thread, but does anyone know how the replay value will stack up?

from seeing the videos from Comic Con i am extremely excited, but at the same time im scared this will be a game you beat once and thats it.

by that i mean everything in the game is set to pop out or happen at the exact time. so if you play it twice you will know exactly what will happen before it does.

ima play it over and over again regardless
im pretty sure they'll throw something in there besides the collectables to keep you wanting to play more
but dont worry about not having anything to do after you beat the game
thats what you have online multiplayer for

the replay ability comes from the fact that it's the third film.
you play it and watch as if you were watching a movie but controlling it.

the big replay comes from the online multiplayer!
name me a GB fan who wont do this at least 10 times a week if they have the game. LOL

I posted highlights from the OXM Report interview with Ryan French.

Also, IGN just added 3 gameplay videos from the San Diego Comic Con.

We can really bust some heads! In a virtual-sense, of course… :p

speaking from personal expierience, growing up i even played to crappy nintendo games of 1 and 2 over and over, just because they were Ghostbusters. i dont think its possible for this game to be so bad you wont want to play it over and over, im sure im not alone here. the game looks badass and i might even buy two copies. :-)

Honestly with single player campaigns I find that I naturally like to replay them even if I know what is going to happen. Like with Halo or Gears of War I like to replay the same levels over and over because the action is just fun. Now with this game I'm sure I'm going to be replaying it so much because it's Ghostbusters. Heck I've watched every gameplay demo and interview like 10 times! If I can watch the game being played and stay excited I think replaying it will be just as exciting. But that is all just me being able to see the same stuff over and over again, I think that it can be safely assumed that everyone believes that online multiplayer adds to the replay value of any game and this will be no exception. Playing online with friends and other Ghostbusters fans will be a lot of fun.

Oh and “Yeswe'reback2008” welcome to the forums! I see it's your first post.

thanks winston18 for the warm welcome. ive been reading the posts on here for years and just never started posting myself. i am also with you on what you were saying about replay value. me and my roomate have played through gears of war about 10 times just because its fun. taking that into account for me and add that this is a ghostbusters game, there goes my social life. i have already taken that week off from work.

Beautiful ! you're hired!
welcome aboard Wereback2008! good to see new blood. I just got here in NOV myself.

as for those IGN videos I think it's funny how they would put a description
on the video without checking to see who the character is. you can clearly see that it's Ray but the description reads “EGON , HELP!”

you're killin me smalls ….. LOL

welcome YWB2008…

and as most have said, I've also watched the interviews and Q's vids many many times…

I think the game is gonna kick some serious heads…in a spiritual gamers sense of course…
