I think it looks a little odd anyway when videogame trailers switch from cutscene to gameplay footage to cutscene. I also think that it is important for this game trailer to feel like a movie trailer and I don't think that could be acheived quite as well had it cut between gameplay footage and cut scene footage. I think it's just perfect. Besides if anyone wants to see gameplay footage all they have to do is visit youtube.

The promise of an all new story is important. I think this trailer being much more like a real movie trailer is very wise decision. I applaud it.

Besides, nothing to get your blood pumping like a trailer for a new GB film. I can only imagine that fans back in '88 felt like we do now when they saw the trailer for GB2.

Here is a new interview with some of the guys from Terminal Reality… There's a pretty neat revelation in it about one of the noticeably absent cast members:

Woah great find, so now we can set aside speculation of what they did after they finished the game. Polished, and refined it, and added things!

Obviously he doesn't seem to realise that those are cutscene models, not the playable ones. (*janine)

you would be surprised if I told you the truth…

Could that mean… they're in-game?

I'm kind of thinking these may be the in-game models. I'm just getting the vibe that you guys went that far out, and you're likely not done yet adding the neatness.

At this point, I would love to see a few subtle Real Ghostbusters references make it in, like ghost references or cameos. At the very least, the skins or even the jumpsuit colors of the cartoon counterparts for multiplayer.

*People who are familiar with me and this particular thread are going to hate me for this, however because of the quote below [and the fact that SkankerZero is “in the trenches” at Terminal Ready making this game], I'm going to foot a few nitpicks on a few things:

And we’re being pretty quiet about it, but I think fans will be really pleasantly surprised that we have been paying attention to what’s been said and the feedback we got from things like comicon and all the previews and everything else. All of that data was reviewed, all the way back to day one. To identify what the key areas we could touch on were. To make this a really special game. - Brendan Goss

*And with out further ado:

*The back-end of the newly-christened “Ecto-1B” reminds me too much of the “George Barris” travesty of an “Ecto-1 replica”…With the red of the wings continuing over the back-end of the car, bar the door, as where this was not the case on any other of the Ectomobiles …

*The flightsuit on everyone involved has the inner “lip” of the zipper showing, not a biggie, however this was not seen during either movie…The logo patch is missing the black behind the ghost, as usually visible around the “belly” and “shoulder” areas of the “spook”, and while I'm on it - The red “no” didn't have a black outline…And last but not least - The gloves have gone from shiny black , to a “charcoal” color…

*Before anyone decides to start hurdling rocks or spears in my direction, these are MINOR gripes PERIOD…And for the record - The trailer that just came out BLEW ME THE F' AWAY!!…

*I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS GAME!! KUDOS TR & ATARI!!

*Cheers.

*It was inevitable upon repeated viewings of the trailer…More “Ecto Flubs” :

They just can't leave Rick alone, can they?

Why is it so hard to just respect his wishes for a early retirement so he can spend time with his family? Between that, and the fact that the story doesn't need Louis Tully to succeed, they shouldn't feel the need to pursue him.

Well considering that the updated their uniforms from GB1 to GB2, who's to say they didn't change/update them for a 3rd time?(*peter)

Plus, they probably made the gloves charcoal due to contrast problems, because of the fact that many of the backgrounds being very dark, they will stand out a lot better!(*peter)
