I think they used old game footage in some of the parts because the game looks much better now.

There's a chance the trailer was edited before the GCHD previews were compiled, so I wouldn't assume they suddenly stepped backward in quality.

My guess is that all the “Rule” trailers were compiled by Sierra and were to be used this past September/October as promotional tools, but once the Activision merger happened, the “Rule” trailers changed hands and are just now seeing the light of day. This would explain the discrepancy between the cinematics.

I personally love the more Dynamic Lighting…looks movie-like. The other stuff, though looked fine on it's own right, still look a little bland in comparison.

mmm i dont know, i like more the older version its more like the movies, the new ones looks good but there is something that i dont like, looks like zoomed in so in the older we can see more stuff like the rookie reaction when stay puff apear or spengler when ray say “thats your cue killer” and things like that

And you know this how? Because there's a small clip with dynamically lit footage on an obscure website? Until I see a commercial for the game on TV, nothing is set in stone in my opinion. Even then, last minute changes are possible.
