I could be wrong, but I think Ecto-H20 was a nickname we gave the boat
Hence, “not yet officially confirmed”.
cause that would be an awesome name for the boat.
It would.

Incorrect. The Ecto-1B is the car, two separate shots have shown the licence plate to read “Ecto-1B”.

As far as Ecto is concerned, Kingpin is correct about the car.

JonXCTrack;138840The thing about the traps is, each level will contain at least 2 trappable ghosts (bosses), the rest of the enimies have to be “physically” destroyed, Plus! If we had to use a different trap every time, it would get kind of cumbersome.
I have a few things to comment on now that I've seen the new footage and read the new IGN article.
First, the traps can be used to catch more than one ghost. This sort of breaks tradition, however it is a needed upgrade not just for the game, but for practicality within the GB universe.
Second, now that a great deal more footage is shown of the new dynamically lit cinematics, I take back everything I said about preferring the old style. Simply stunning.
Third, it seems all but certain that Ivo Shandor is the baddie in the game.

The original who developed it … spent a good amount of money, between 12 and 15 million dollars .

You're right about it being historically inaccurate… but the orange plate is sorta iconic with the design of Ecto-1. It's a small error that can be easily overlooked.
