We're also pleased to report that – unlike the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 game – you'll be able to play through the entire campaign mode in splitscreen co-op with up to four players!

Interesting.

The Ghostbusters on offer will have unique attributes too – Ray can see ghosts through walls for instance, while Egon has more versatility with gadgets.
Also cool.

By the way, the article is very indepth with the storyline, if anyone is worried about spoilers of the first couple levels. I'm normally a spoiler nazi but even I couldn't resist reading it.

Sweet. One thing I don't get for the Wii version though is why the proton stream is blue, that kinda confuses me, and yes, I will admit, I hate how the Wii version seems to be geared towards younger people.

Damn you family games!

here is some new info on the wii version http://wii.ign.com/articles/839/839572p1.html and the pc version http://pc.ign.com/articles/839/839539p1.html at ign.

Sweet! Some great artwork there… and Van Horne Station!*

* They've done their homework on the Beach Pneumatic System which Van Horne was inspired by.

*Wha?! I looked through ALL those photos and didn't see one “Wii” photo, or was I not looking in the right place?

*And to massive “grunts and groans”, I give you a few new/old discrepancies, after perusing the new photos:

1] The “knob” is off-center, and is “alien” compared to the “movie” version…I don't remember THAT being touted as “used for health/ammo gauges” like the side of the pack .

2] This is piddly - But the wires connected to the cylinder are off-kilter as well.

*Along with the aforestated “wing door detail” being too wide, the lightbars missing their respective connectors, and Ben pointed out the “Big-Rig” style mirrors, I've noticed that the “wheel wells” are shaped more like a ‘70’s hearse, as oppossed to a '59 caddy…And it bugs me…

*Is is just me, or is the “trap cord” yellow?! I know that could be the “piss hose” , but that would mean that the trap is just “floating” and not “dangling” …So I'm left to think that it is in fact “yellow”, and not the correct “black”…

*Discuss.

*Cheers.

Nice work, Piero… you mind if I post those at GBHQ?

Lanny, pictures (both character/location renders and concept art) of the Wii version of the game can be found following this link:

I want to see a picture of Vigo, see how he is, bet he looks pretty good from everything I've seen so far. To bad the actor for Vigo died though, since it seems that they're going all out for this.

Lol, and I do think its pretty funny that the Wii Librarian ghost looks better then the 360 one.

Lol, and a few more minor things that I don't think Terminal Reality will look at.

I love this screenshot. http://media.pc.ign.com/media/142/14218854/img_5110418.html

Also, I'm sure you guys have already heard this, but I'll mention it anyway. Apparantly the DS version is a top-down management game. The focus seems to be more about running the business side of things. Of course you still get to bust ghosts.

It would've been great seeing him reprise one of his most evil roles… especially given the ‘one time only’ nature of a lot of motion picture villains. Hopefully if Vigo does have dialogue, which surely he would have… it'd be just odd if he didn't speak… they get a decent enough guy to stand in… it shouldn't be too hard to immitate his voice.

I'm hoping we'll see Van Horne in the ‘adult version’, given the fact both games essentially follow the same storyline… although I'm hoping that in the Xbox 360/PC version it'll be based fully on the set they build for Ghostbusters II:

Of course, they'd have a definiate degree of freedom give that the stuff going off of the lower-left corner was never seen (the camera only hung around the corner with the station steps, the tunnel entrance and the ceiling as most of the rest of it was extended with matt painting.

The references to the station design of Beach's Pneumatic Subway would work fine with the Wii version given it is going to have a greater degree of artistic licence.
