I'm still very curious… why are they using the Wii as the central platform for the “multiplayer” experience? The 360 has the most robust multiplayer support of all 3 consoles… why relegate it to just the Wii?

Because Wii is next gen like the 360 and ps3 but doesn't have the graphics.
so by making 360 and ps3 Graphics and great single player and making wii have the multiplayer. It means Wii owners won't feel as cheated.
Most games give wii crap versions of 360 but they didn't and made it more of it's own game and not just a crap version of 360 and personally am very impressed for that and give them huge respect in doing that

The Dynamix studio was closed by its parent company Sierra in August 2001, as part of Sierra's restructuring under Vivendi Universal.

didnt a branch of vivendi or vivendi itself also do one of the EGB Games?
