Agreed. I too was hoping that something would have come out of my “application” by now. And I know it doesn't help that we've all been burned before. **cough cough**

At least, Rolo got to speak with Mr. Hudson, (*winston) who confirmed that the VG was going ahead and they would start the voice process in a couple of months. I guess that's kind-of an update, but it would be nice to hear something from the actual company.

Isn't it still kind of early? The games current release date is October, which is 8 months away still… Maybe they want to give people a chance to sign up to the site before they start mailing ghostbuster specific stuff…

I've received one advert from Sierra on Jan. 30th since I applied, I'm sure they don't want to be seen as spamming people either.

I know 8 months are a lot ot time… but we, as ghostheads, this game is something we can hardly wait…

I quit playing videogames about 10 years ago (my last console was SuperNes), but when I knew about this game (November 2007), I decided to buy me a XBox 360… and I did it… I got it for Xmas with the Halo 3 game… I just get the “Monster Madness” game this week (kinda Zombies ate my Neighbors tribute)… and in a few months I´ll buy my Nintendo Wii, only waiting for the GB game.

Body: I would like to thank my many fans and admirers. You've brought joy to me, and I am happy to announce Ghostbusters™ The Video Game (also known as Ghostbusters 3). This will be my last bulletin for I can't keep up with the emails, fanmail, rehearsals, screenwriting, and many more objectives.

I love you all, and I don't say this much, but I've enjoy your company and kindness. I had not “1” negative comment.

But an official myspace page will eventually be up and around of me. That way I have people who can answer crucial questions.

Didn't IGN always have October as the release date? Anyway, they have Q3 2008 as the release now (July-September). Not saying they officially changed the release date or anything, just posting what IGN has changed.

well this is great news, i dont believe it though. why would they make the release earlier? maybe they finished it earlier than expected? maybe they want a summer release instead of fall? who knows.

probably IGN just wants more readers so they say some rumor that'll cause more exposure for them to keep getting readers to come back for updates.

Yeah, I don't know why IGN changed it. Especially since they appear to not even have a reason for it. Far as I'm concerned, until there is an official press release, the release date is October.

The objective of the night was this thought: They asked the testers to solve a ‘Poster Puzzle.’ This puzzle consisted on various posters all over Home. They would have numbers, and you would need to know the name of the game, and be able to get it right. It ended up being an anagram puzzle. With the result being that ghostbusters the demo is coming soon?!
