Some_GuyIf it´s official, I think they are making a big mistake… they have to profit the entire month… I know the hallowen day is at the end of the month… but if they release it since the very first day of the month… the sells are gonna grow!!

Erm, why does releasing it closer to Halloween result in fewer sales? Sure, it'd have fewer sales in October and none in September, but could arguably have a strong run through November. Especially with it being released close to Halloween and the posibility of people buying it to play it on ‘fright night’.
I suspect the accounts saying the game would be released in September were industry rumor run amuck.

More importantly, October 21st is in plenty of time to sell units for Christmas, which is going to be a bigger boon on the whole.

Hey, over at AICN, mori got to talk to Harold Ramis for a bit. I asked him why he didnt ask Harold about the GHOSTBUSTERS game. He said:
So in about 3 weeks, the actors should be recording the voice work.
… I did. He's going to record his voice for the game in about three weeks, as soon as they wrap on THE YEAR ONE. He sounds genuinely pleased to be doing it again, too.

Last night, I found a xbox magazine on wal-mart (a mexican one, didn´t buy it), and there came a list of games to come… including, of course, Ghostbusters. There they talk about the game and about the franchise (nothing new, only the rumour that the game will have 10 levels on campaign mode), and they suggest, if you haven´t yet, to watch the movie, “cause 23 years is a long time”, and the game could be loved only by die-hard fans (just like anyone of us)… and new generations could only know the cartoons.
I think this game will bring a new generation of GB fans.
BTW, on the OXM #1 (Official Xbox Magazine, mexican version), they post a list of the 10 hottest games to be released this year, and Ghostbusters is on number 9.

a couple of new screens and a nice article with all the INFO we've been asking for !!! ONLINE MULTIPLAYER!!!!!! COOPERATIVE MODES AND COMPETITIVE MODES FOR THE 360!!!!
also Kotaku did one as well. All of this came from that press event that happened earlier
hopefully we will get a website update soon and maybe even a demo!
