Includes tentative confirmation of 4 way online multiplayer for XBOX360 and PS3, confirmation of Venkman as a ghostbuster (not a ghost or manifestation of gozer for the worriers) and confirmation of the use of Ray Parker Jnr's original song.

tentative confirmations all, but promising nonetheless. Also six new (i think) screenshots. Apologies if it has already been flagged - just letting you know.

have they said any more details about the 4 player coop?
Would be nice to be able to play the single player story in coop.

Edit: apparantly there wont be any of that

The multiplayer modes is only confirmed for the Wii and PS2 version (maybe DS can't remember).

I'm pretty sure the video posted above said that it was gonna be in ALL versions, now. :-) I hope thats true.

I vaguely recall like Mjollnir that one source said the 360/PS3 version would have a multiplayer, where a player could even choose to be one of the original Ghostbusters, but it wouldn't be a part of the actual storyline.

It's something that requires further investigation if our joint recollection is correct.

The demonstration stuck with single-player modes, but Ghostbusters will include a few multiplayer games. For the PS3 and 360, up to four gamers will work together on missions specially designed for a group and unrelated to the main story. Additionally, another scenerio will let two people play ghosts and two play ghostbusters, although I couldn't get any more details. These multiplayer games will connect online and not support split-screen.

Wii gamers will be able to play with four-player split-screen. And they'll control the proton beam with the Wii Remote. (The PS3 game will let players stun ghosts by slamming them into a wall with a quick shake, but further motion controls weren't disclosed.)
