I am really bumbed, I got the July issue of Nintendo power and thier is nothing on the Wii version of the game at all. :-O

I wonder if the NP writers made a mistake or the writer ran late getting the article finished or what, any how I hope to hear more soon about both this version and how the game play be different from the PC , Xbox 360, and Playstation versions.

PS: Has anyone hear ever beaten the Extreme Ghostbusters Code Ecto1 game for the Gameboy advance without using a Gameshark or other cheat device?

EGB for the GBA is fairly easy, I've beaten it multiple times…no cheats or shark necessary

I've never beaten it!….Keep in mind I haven't played the game a lot lol. It's not very hard though, I just sometimes stop halfway through.

Anyway, it sucks that there is virtually no coverage on the Wii version of the game. We've gotten a few screens here and there, but no details or footage. (*egon)

*Just a heads-up - The 11th issue of "Horror Hound" Magazine has a page on “GB:TVG” & a small retrospective on the older games …

*Cheers.

In a more recent interview http://www.oxmonline.com/article/features/presses/ghostbusters-exclusive-interview Mark Randal said he wasn't able to comment on what lured Bill Murray back to the franchise. I know it doesn't matter, but I would just love to know! Any thoughts?

Yeah. Because the only thing I can think of is:
$$$

If Murray's only into the money, Ghostbusters would be a series of movies like Police Academy now… But instead, he does cheap indie-movies without earning too much bucks, but respect from the so-called critics.

I wouldnt think it would just be money, more like the accessability the game provides. He is able to sit down and record his lines when he wants, where he wants. Instead of putting in months on a actual set, he can get most of his work done in just a handful of days and dictate the time of each recording session.

Not to mention I bet the fans played a huge factor in it. For the last what 20 years? The question has followed him and other big 4 where ever they went “When is Ghostbusters 3 going to happen”. After a while I am sure he wanted to do something to satisfy the fans just so that he could finally stop having to find ways to answer the same question.
