Has anybody played the Driver game for Playstation on the new york level and tried to drive around that part of NYC to try to find the firehouse? I just recently got it and found out the levels and im hoping you can do a drive by and see the firehouse in the game but i dunno if you can. Anybody tried it?

I doubt it. You need to be more specific with what game it is. I wouldn't think they put enough detail in the game to have you drive past the firehouse. I'm sure if you look closely you will see that the same buildings repeat themselves.

I've tried it, they only have individual buildings which are landmarks i.e. Empire state, statue of Liberty etc.

yeah its actually called Driver. The other thing is about that game is that they only made sure to put in the most recognizable features of each city. There is no way the firehouse appears. Maybe in a future version that comes out for ps2 or maybe in a GTA game it might appear though.

Maybe, but I don't think the game designers would put NY in a Grand Theft Auto game basewd on what happened on 9-11. It might be a little tacky.

i think people should get over what happened at sept 11, but not forget about it. if we were to grieve and complain everytime we saw the twin towers in a movie or show, we should censor or ban almost a majority of movies (like ghostbusters).

I wouldnt put it past them. If they would put out GTA3 than they would just as well put it out but have real cities. Its just that there is no way you would be able to take entire buildings down. I dont want to dwell on 9-11 for ever. Far from it, but I was just thinking how much in bad taste GTA3 really was.

except for the fact that you could steal somebody's car, run them over with it, blow up that ambulance that came to pick up the person you ran over, steal the firetruck coming to save the ambulance, take the firetruck and run over your original victim…yeah, you could say that is bad taste…
