Pack sounds

Go to Radio Shack and it's a Recording Module, it's like $10. It has a small speaker, but it can be replaced. The battery on it is a 9v, but I think I'm going to convert it to 2 D's. It records up to 20 seconds of sound and is easy to record over.

Let us know how well that digital recorder works. i know the one you got, and its meant for like personalizing kids toys and teddy bears. I can't imagine it would have great sound quality, but let us know. also are you gonna just use the built in mike, or try to add a jack?

The sound recorder didn't work all that well. I couldn't get a good recording on it. When I did get a good one on there it wouldn't be enought sound to amplify it. I don't know really what else to use. I'd like to get something where I can just extract it from my PC.

As for all the sounds, I have them all(pack and gun) but I'm not emailing them out. Hopefully sometime soon they will be on gbprops.com. I will let you know when Ectoman puts them on there. I just sent him them yesterday. The gun firring is looped and you can tell a little bit.

Unfortunatly, that is how i thought the little gizmo would work. I was going to try to burn a disk and use a cheap CD player for mine. sounds odd, but you could have track 1 for start up, and then have the rest of the CD be blaster noise, have it constantly on, and just have yoru switch cut the speakers in and out. much clearer record, much easier to amplify.
