If I were to guess, I would say when he said “a year from now” he was simply told 2009 and he's just saying a year from now because that is sometime next year. I don't think Atari wants to sit on this that long, I would imagine they want to get it out as soon as they can, with proper marketing to ensure that it sells of course.

Umm, while I cautious about this info I am going to hold onto it cause it is the latest we actually heard about the game other than Bill saying he enjoyed doing it.

Anyway, being serious for once, I sure as heck hope thats pretty much what Dan meant, in that a year away just translates to “it'll be out sometime next year”.

I would agree with this. Isn't Atari on the verge of bankruptcy? Last time I checked, the only games they published that were making any money were the Dragon Ball games. I guess that explains why there is a new one every 3 months. GBTVG is about as sure fire a hit as you can get. It could very well save the company.

Well im taking this all with a grain of salt. intill atari says somthing offical, and we get a solid launch date…

I just dont see wating an entire YEAR for the dam thing! thats not happening. June at the latest!

Atari has been mostly publishing Dragon Ball games, but they sell pretty well. 3 Months is kind of an exaggeration though, but we get Dragon Ball games every year pretty much now.

Not that hard, what he said was that he hopes when Dan said a year, he was just talking about it being released next June, which is still considered next year, instead of in October
