Some Great news guys and gals….

Sony is sealing the deal as we speak but the game will not be released this year as now since all the publisher mumbo jumbo had messed up the production schedule and there are to many bug checking and final checks to be made on the game to get it out by end of this year…

“We are close to announcing the new video game partner. It’s been a wild last couple weeks. Tell the fans all will be okay. The game will have to ship in 2009. Even if we had a partner on board in august, it’s almost impossible to meet the oct date. The game has to go thru various approvals at sony playstation, microsoft, nintendo. Retailers cannot react as well, tv ad space is closed. Lastly, we are also going to use the time to work and fine tune development of the game”

Good so that means no exclusive release for playstation 3. Its good to see that some one in a game company got a lick of sense.

As I said in PC, we finally got some official news from Sony… the delaying was inevitable, but it´s good to read some lines from Sony.

The darkness has started to clear.

If true, this is really good news because it means the game does not stay in limbo. I hope they ship it EARLY 2009 and not June like they first mentioned.

I actually find it good news that sony possibly turned down EA as a publisher….

at least that means they are concerned with quality control as well..

Yeah, I noticed the mistake and edited it. Sorry.

There is still too much testing, refining, and bug checking and new product placement to be considered to get it out by the the end of the year even if they lock in a publisher right now. And they have to come up with whole new advertisements, promos,and commercials and all as well.

Yay, this makes me happy to hear. Not only confirms that a new publisher is pretty much on board, but that the game won't be exclusive to whatever this week's rumored exclusivity is. Plus hearing news of extra fine tuning due to the delay definitely made me smile. There's really nothing stopping the game from being one of the best this generation has to offer.
