Amazon is as prone to error as plenty other places that display release dates.

Par example, I wouldn't be surprised if Amazon.co.uk still lists “Ghostbusters: Urban Legends” despite the fact the book became The Return. I'm gonna take the date of June 30th, at fact value and file it along with every other rumored date to date. I advise you all do the same.

There's no point going around looking for release dates, it's much more worth our while to wait until the game's website, and promotional material give us a date. Nobody's going to be winning a cookie if the random date they found on www.gamesreleasedaterumors.com actually winds up being right. So chill everyone, if we're going to be having a ten month wait period, it's kinda pointless to be galavanting across the internet posting every date you've found until the cows come home.

Just like Kingpin said, NOBODY but the publisher of the game knows the release. Amazon and anybody else can and do make mistakes. Until an official announcement, all speculation.

No, Amazon is USUALLY correct about the dates. And you have a serious problem with overacting to people you either don't agree with, or state something that you believe is false. Just now you were asking me if I was kidding, like I knew nothing about the site.

Amazon knows as much as any other retailer does. As you can see Amazon continued to use the October 21st release date for the longest of time even after Activision dropped Ghostbusters. They only just changed it a like two days ago. Like any retailer you can go to, all their dates that have not been official by the developers are pure speculation.

Over at Halo.Bungie.Org we do something differently. When Halo 2 and Halo 3 were coming out, they held for all the members to guess when the game was coming out. If they were correct, they got a free copy of the game bought by the officials on the forum.

So how does posting every possible date on here, where there is no such contest, seem even remotely similar? You don't win anything by posting tons of dates and expecting them to be taken as gospel.

I did read your post CORRECTLY, but I am just stating that you need to know the difference between a joke and an insult which while I know is hard to tell sometimes it not always that hard to tell the difference. Not everything everyone says is an insult and not everything everyone says is a joke.

However, never judge something before you know all the facts first. Look before you leap and all that mumbo jumbo like that.

Dang, I'm just happy the game's coming out at all. Period. And I don't mean coming out because of the pulisher ordeal. Just glad that it's another thing to satisfy my ghost busting hunger. Good things come to those who wait dudes.

That Amazon date of June seems to be, unfortunately, the most realistic, and disgusting, thats a 9 month wait from now compared to a 1 month wait, thanks Activision, ya bastards.

look. the only way i will ever except a june launch, is if the 3th movie opens in that june as well!

And, i dont care if they have a script finished, polished, and aproved by tonight at midnight, and the cameras are set to role tomarow morning, i severly doubt it will happen!

June is a stupid, stupid move. Its basicly delaying the game almost a full year for no other reason then to slap a sticker on it!

I dont think i can wait till next june. Ive wated long enough. March, is my final limit! thats it. If i dont have the game in my hands by April 2th, then, i dont want it. Its too much to ask of me, a hardcore, loyal fan, to wait almost another year, for a finished product for no reason what so ever then a lame marketing campain.
