Ive built my pack according to Norman Gagnon's blueprints (Norman you are “da man” in my book!). I've made the holster as close to what i have seen on the blueprint and from freeze framing the movie. When i have my costume on, i have a heck of a time getting the wand back in its holster. Does anyone else have this problem, or do i need to see a physical therapist?
By the way, i don't believe ive seen a scene in any of the movies where they put it back on the holster. Can anyone out there shed some light on this. Do they ever put it back on the pack on screen?

No, they're never seen reholstering the gun. Actually if you watch some of the after-bust scenes you'll notice the usually have the thrower hanging from their belt. They've got the same type of hanger system hooked to their belts. Putting it back is what your Ghostbusting buddies are for.

Hes right, the only place you see them re-holster the pack sis in the cartoons, in the movies they holsterd them on the belts. It's what i have on my belt too.

I made my own hooks from Aluminum and they work great, It's so easy to rack the gun.

Re-holstering the gun by yourself takes a lot of practice and should be done before you use the pack in a public place.

i have had trouble with this too, i got the foldaway hangar kit listed in norms plans, but is hard to rack, does take a lot of practice, and you look pretty foolish in public when you spend 10 minutes trying to rack your gun or have someone else do it for you…
Every store i go to im looking for a new mounting system, if everyone whos building a pack is doing the same, then eventaully well come up with something better…

I used a CB handset mic mount for a CB radio, It works great, just like a big version of the cell phone clips with one end on your belt, and the little round thingy on the phone or the case. I can usually get it in my first try, but before that one I had an old crappy system and I learned to use the belt clip way. I still use it alot today, it just feels kinda right since thats what the real GBs did.

lol, you use the same mount i use. It dose take a lot of practice to put the guns back in place, but once you have it down it awsome looking.
