what is the purpose of the yellow tube that hangs of the flight suit and connects into the upper thigh area?

Ok, From what most people on here have come up with, it was just there to make it look cool.. A lot of people have a lot of different, but interesting, ideas as to what it could have been used for. There have been a few posts about the hose and it's use in the past, they're all archived (and I'm not really sure on how to post links to the topics) but I'm sure that if you looked you would find them.

You are correct Proton…it's what military pilots in the 50's and 60's used to pee in on long flights.

The costumer for the GB movies probably thought it would be funny to throw that little detail in there not really knowing who would pick up on it.
