Hey,
I’m building a Proton Pack and I have some questions.

1. Where do I get all this stuff?
2. What kind of wood should I use?
3. How do I get the lights to work?
4. How do you make it look metal?

1. Home Depot, Surplus Stores, your local hardware store.

2. I used this wood that came in Planks, I can't remember the name. I also hear that Basswood it good to use. Also, Hobbywood, found at hobby stores.

3. That is rather hard. There is a few hundered posts about this at ASAP, and I have a summary on my site, under Proton Packs. But it isn't for the electronically unskilled. If you have the money, you can buy from Hyperdyne Labs.

4. You can use Bondo, or wood filler to make it look like it is all one piece and get out the wood grain. Then Prime it, then paint it with some silver metalic, then spray it with some semigloss black. Rub away the black, and it will have an underlining silver.
