Very true. I do not put to much stock in anything either CNN or FOX news has to say.

The image does to me thought in that link look suspiciously photoshoped to me…

There's a Military testing base a couple miles off the coast of Montauk.

Plum Island.

I highly doubt any sort of testing facility would just dump an animal in such a manner where it might get to the eyes of the public and/or certain animal rights groups, even if the testing was benign. The more likely disposal method would be incineration.

Then you've never been to Long Island. Most people here are about as dumb as a sack of bricks.

And that's insulting the sack of bricks. :-)

Indeed. And while it does look like an PS project there is also another picture of the creature. Look it up via the original link. Or Google, or “GoogleTube”, Plum TV as they have the story and the interview with the photographer.

Wow Geraldo has Jeff Corwin on his show tonight on Fox news channel talking about the “monster” They have the guy on there that found the monster. the guy said that he had the monster at his firends house but it was “misplaced.” …..wow….this is crazy I cant believe this is on tv….they must be tired of following both Obama and Mccain….wow….
