On the screen where it shows the GB logo and says press X, just leave it for about 30 seconds, then go into the game. That's how I used to fix it, but since the patch, I've yet to have the problem again, so I would suggest trying to get that patch ASAP.

Is there anyway of geting the patch on the Internet as I can't get into the PS3 store or do you have it saved on you HDD and email it to me as I don't sufficient Iinternet access to get onto the PS3 Store
