Simpsons ending?? Dear God!!!!

Ok, ok, don't panic. I saw on the WB11 Morning News (New York) this morning that Matt Groening has said he will end Simpsons if our favorite show does not win another Emmy this year. Say it isn't so! Of course I'm confident, but then again, this is a bit strange, as he said less than a month ago that he will keep the show going for a long time. What I would like to know is has anyone seen any internet articles on this yet? Because I've searched high and low and found absolutely nothing, not even at the WB11 website. Pray, my friends, pray!

I read that somewhere online today, and the article said he was only joking. The Simpsons can't end until atleast 2005, which is the end of its 15th season. All of the cast's contracts were renwed until then for $1 Million each an episode. Of course Fox can “cancel” it if they wanted to, but the show is still profitable and it'd cost them even more to pay off the voice actor's contracts. I'm sure will see our beloved family for atleast 3 more years. 
I am sad to say though that when 2005 rolls around, that will most likely be the end. Dan “Homer” Castellenata was on the radio this morning, said they already recorded next season's dialogue and half of the season after that.

OOOHHHH!!! OHHH THANK THE LORD!!!! Man, he scared me so, so bad. 15 seasons would be perfect, and then we have movies to look forward to after that. Man, Thank you Dr. Venkman, for clearing that up. I'm much, much happier now.

Yeah, Fox will milk that franchise like crazy. But they can make the show more interesting:
“Something crazy like Marge is a robot
Or mabye Moe gets a cellphone!”
That was a great musical number…
And there's still a very good future after the 8th best TV show of all time (according to TV guide) goes. They said they wanted to do movies after, like the Star Trek movies. So the only time to get upset is when they stop making Simpsons movies. There's nothing stopping the Simpsons!
