Last night I watched Ghostbusters. Yes, I know…big shocker.

Anyways…

…last night was the first time I noticed Peter wearing his Ghostbusters uniform during the “Dana-Fountain-Who's the stiff” scene.

Anyone else notice something new recently?

I love it when I notice new things in the movie, small little nuances that you don't pick up on til you see the movie a bunch of times.

That said, I think I realized that Venkman was wearing his uniform in that scene pretty early on, but still, very neat pick up.

I noticed a little witty joke in the movie recently which is pretty unobvious but nevertheless funny.

It happens when the library administrator introduces himself to Venkman, Stanz and Spengler and goes as follows:

Roger Delacorte

“Hi I'm Roger Delacorte are you the men from the university?”

Venkman

“Yes. I'm Dr Venkman, Dr Stanz, Egon.

Notice that Venkman refers to himself and Stanz as doctors and that instead of introducing Egon as Dr Spengler he simply refers to him as Egon.

By not referring to Egon as a doctor I think that Venkman was jokingly trying to undermine Spenglers professional qualification. This is especially funny when you realise that Spengler is the real brains of the three and that Venkman himself is the slacker, the one who never studied and as as Dean Yeager put it ”treats science as some kind of dodge or hustle".

there are some of those great moments in the library. Venkman messing with the guy with the serious “Lets not rush things…we don't even know what we have yet” Look for Ray's reaction to Saint Jerome. :p

Right after he says “I'd call that a big yes” it looks like Ray has a reaction like “ooookay” One little thing watch right after “maybe I have a milkbone” as soon as Louis screams, a girl right next to the window where he is turns around REALLY fast. :p

I think that Ray's just trying to look through his video camera.

Yes I noticed that girl but it's not what I'd call a hidden joke.

A few years ago (when I got the movie on DVD, you know, wide screen) I noticed that when Peter is making the bill for the slimer entrapment, Egon´s telling him how much ask for the entire work… I found that hilarious… (on VHS you can´t see Egon on screen).

Ghostbusters213, that was the first joke I noticed when I got the Ghostbusters DVD (after years of watching the VHS versions). I'm sure I saw it in the theater but was too young to catch it. Hilarious!
