No, no, I'm not a moderator. I don't have the time. However, I felt this issue needed to be brought up.

Whenever a Mod posts a warning or message in any thread, somebody starts criticizing them. It's ridiculous. Let me tell you why.

If there were no Mods here, this board would just turn into another foul, smut-filled forum for those with nothing real to contribute. This board seems to be the lifeblood of the Ghostbusters Community and without Mods to regulate it, it would ruin much of the progress that has been made over the past few years in the strengthening of the Ghostbusters Community.

Sometimes it seems as if the Mods are too rough, however, they are only doing what is necessary to keep this board clean and enjoyable for all.

Mods are like Referees in a sporting event. The athletes and coaches seem to hate their prescence at times, but you have to respect them because they hold the game together.

So enough criticizing of the Mods. Without them here this board would just turn into another foul, smut-filled forum. And you don't want that, am I right?

Who's complaning about the Mods??? I really didn't even know there were Mods here.

P.S The worst Mods are at Thevervepipe.com that whole message board is a living joke, if you don't agree with them you get kicked off or your insulted. There pathetic people there.

Perhaps you haven't seen it, but I have.

There are Mods here, though, and that's what keeps this place clean.

i've never disrespected moderators, and I often refer to them as the spooks of gb.net. I've only seen them once or twice, but that was about it….it's a rare occasion to see one…

I am a prefect at my school so I understand the kinda things the mods go through, I have only the highest respect for them for doing the things they do.

I have no problem with respecting mods. My problem is when mods act as if they are so superior than other people. You give some people a little bit of power and they start thinking that they're somebody important. I don't have too much respect for those kind of people.

Dave, I haven't seen a mod weilding their power on the boards. In fact, as mentioned earlier I've only seen a mod post “as a group” under the name “The Watcher.”

If anything they are The Shadow to our boards.

I'm with borzou, I do not disrespect the
mods, I just like to tease every once in a while as the REAL ghosts of this site.

I think it is a good idea to have mods. I have never seen one of them do anything that abused their power.
