Anybody remember this show? Dan Akroyd was the main character and had 2 teenage sons (can't remember if he had a daughtor). He was a preacher. It only lasted 2 seasons probably because of how religious it was.

It lasted for two seasons because it wasn't funny. Religion had nothing to do with it.

I watched it at first because it had Dan in it. Stopped watching it soon there after however

Well yes and no. The song Soul Man has been around for a while, but the Blues Brothers do play that song in their concerts. Dan probably did the Harmonica's for the opening.

That said, I've only seen a bit of the actual show, and I laughed a little but not enough to keep me interested. Mainly checked it out cause of Dan lol.
